Many of these apps disappear just as quickly as they appeared, and not all of them are serious.  It's understandable that it can be hard to navigate through this jungle of survey apps, and therefore it's common for people to ask: "Is MultiPolls legit?"

Why Am I Not Getting Surveys?

We wish we could offer you an unlimited number of surveys, but unfortunately that isn't possible. Here are a few reasons why you might not be seeing many surveys at the moment:

Time of year: Research tends to slow down during certain times of the year, such as holidays like Christmas and summer vacation. This is because researchers, like everyone else, need a little rest and relaxation every now and then.

Day of week: Surveys tend to be more available from Tuesday to Friday, with fewer available on weekends since researchers take the weekends off to recharge. This is because researchers often take weekends off and are slower to start on Mondays.

Country: The number of surveys available can vary depending on where you're located. But don't worry - we're working on expanding our partnerships with researchers to bring more surveys to more regions.

In the meantime, don't stress about constantly checking the app for new surveys. We'll send you a notification as soon as we find a survey that's a good fit for you. Thanks for your understanding and for using MultiPolls.

Thank you for your understanding, and happy earning!

Why Am I Getting Disqualified?

Getting disqualified from surveys sucks.

At MultiPolls, we work hard to improve your survey conversion rate, which is the ultimate performance indicator for us. There are many reasons why disqualifications happen. Sometimes it's our fault, sometimes it's the user's fault, and sometimes it's just bad luck.

Here are some common reasons for disqualification:

Not passing qualification questions

From recent purchases to travel habits, qualification questions can be specific to the survey's subject matter. For instance, a survey on grocery shopping habits may inquire whether you have bought organic produce in the past 2 days. Similarly, a survey on transportation preferences may ask if you have used public transportation in the past month and if you prefer a car or a bicycle.

Providing inconsistent or inaccurate answers

Survey creators want accurate answers, so they might disqualify you if your answers don't match up or if you're not paying attention. This can happen if you're multitasking, not reading the questions carefully, or not being honest.

Taking too long to complete the survey

Some surveys have time limits, so if you're taking forever, you might be disqualified. This can happen if you're not focused, if you're having technical issues, or if you're taking too long to think about your answers.

Taking the survey too quickly

Surveys have an average completion time that other people were able to achieve. If you're too fast, the researchers might think you're trying to take as many surveys as possible while providing random answers.

Gaming the system

Some survey apps and websites can tell if you're trying to cheat, like using multiple accounts or fake information. If they catch you, you might be disqualified from future surveys.

What is MultiPolls doing to reduce this from happening?

That's a great question! At MultiPolls, we understand that researchers are looking for specific people to participate in their surveys. To find these people, they sometimes ask filtering questions within the surveys. For example, a researcher may want to gather insights on a TV show that you watched last night. If you didn't watch any TV, then that survey is not a good fit for you.

To help reduce the chances of disqualification, we create profiles of our users by asking them a variety of questions. This helps us to find the best surveys for each individual. However, it's important to read the instructions and to answer the questions honestly and accurately. By doing this, you can reduce the number of times you're disqualified from surveys.

And don't worry if a particular survey isn't a good fit, we always have more surveys available in the future. Plus, we still give you a small bonus for trying. So don't be a party pooper and follow the rules!

MultiPolls Pays Users Through PayPal

Let's be honest, the primary reason you are taking surveys or are looking to take surveys in the future is to earn some extra cash.  At MultiPolls that is also our goal, and hence we have integrated PayPal as our primary reward payout partner.

With PayPal, you will get your money directly to your account and are then able to spend it easily wherever PayPal is accepted.  If you currently do not have PayPal, read the step-by-step guide below to help you with the easy onboarding process.

Step 1

You will need to visit www.paypal.com and select the option to sign up.

Step 2

You will be asked which type of account you would want to set up.  If you are not a business owner, then you would need to select “Personal Account”.

Step 3

In this step, you will be providing the email address that you want to be associated with your PayPal account and will be asked to create a password.

Step 4

Here you will need to fill out some basic account details such as name, address, and phone number.

Step 5

This step is optional, here you can link your credit/debit card to PayPal so you can use your cards as a payment method via the PayPal system.

That is all you need to do, afterwards when you reach the minimum threshold on MultiPolls, you will be able to request a cash out which we will send to your PayPal within 48hrs of the request.  You can then use PayPal for online purchases where PayPal is accepted, and if you want to use it offline, then you can easily request a PayPal debit card within the PayPal dashboard.

Happy earning!

In Research, Honesty and Integrity Pay.

Believe it or not, market research and specifically paid surveys, have always been a target of research fraud.  This is where hackers or fraudulent users try to game the system in order to earn more money off the backs of the researchers.  This is very much true for MultiPolls and all other survey platforms.

The initial reaction from many is why care if the survey questions are not 100% answered honestly, well there are many survey platforms on the market, the ones that never cared, will be the ones that will pay less per survey and have surveys that are harder to complete.  The reason for this is that these survey platforms have been blacklisted by the best researchers in the industry and thus the honest user base for these platforms are the ones being punished with a subpar experience.  Eventually, these users leave for other platforms or abandon survey platforms altogether.  In the case of MultiPolls, we are very much protective of our platform and of our legitimate users, and thus strive to keep our app clean from hackers and fraudulent users.

We will review some of the ways these fraudsters attempt to take advantage of survey platforms.  We will disclose as much as possible without disclosing some of our little security secrets.  So let's get started.

VPN Tricksters - this is the most popular approach to fraud.  There are many countries that do not have survey apps, so individuals from these countries try to take surveys of another country while using a VPN.  This approach is very easy to catch and usually leads to instant banning from survey platforms.

Speedsters - some try to play the number game with surveys.  They believe that if they take as many surveys as possible in a short period of time that they will have better chances of completing more surveys and hence earn more money.  So these types of users speed through surveys answering randomly in the hopes they get by.  Two things happen, first, the platforms know the average time it takes to complete a survey, so if a user is way underneath this average time, that user will be rejected from the survey.  The second thing that happens is that these users get caught answering quality questions wrong.  For example “Which animal from the list below lives underwater”, since the user is a speedster, they may select the wrong animal and then are rejected, or worse, the researcher will let them spend more time in the survey to only get rejected at the end.

Liar liar pants on fire - the most common way to beat surveys is through the use of dishonesty.  Saying you have children when you don’t, stating you drive a Ford when you drive a Honda, pretending to be vegan when you love your southern meat BBQ.  These individuals are a bit trickier to catch, but there are ways.  One way is via inconsistencies in their answers throughout various surveys.  Another way is to look at the average success rate of surveys and the platform average.  So imagine if the platform average of completed surveys is every 3 out of 10 surveys, but a user gets 7 out of 10, that is already a flag.  Odds are that the user is answering surveys dishonestly.  Another way users get caught is by answering quality questions wrong, but would be correct if the user knew the subject matter well.  For example, what is your favorite scent of Old Spice deodorant? The liar may select a scent that doesn’t exist.  If this occurs on multiple surveys, well this fraudster is caught and banned.

Secret Sauce - there are other ways that fraudulent users are caught, and in the case of MultiPolls, this is through the implementation of multiple data point analyses. Regular users have a natural pattern when it comes to their behavior, fraudulent users do not and they greatly stand out amongst the normal users.  That is as far as we can discuss the secret sauce, already discussing it violates the first rule of the secret sauce, which is we don’t discuss the secret sauce.

Hopefully, this gives you a bit further understanding of all the work that goes into building the security behind survey platforms.  Note that there are always constant changes and adjustments to security, as for MultiPolls, we are always making changes and adding more intelligence to our security efforts.  The ultimate goal is to reward our honest users and prevent fraudulent users from ruining our relationship with our researchers.
